The purpose of this study was to investigate hotels’ seasonal workforce perceptions about the following variables; supervisor support, affective commitment, work engagement and their intention to return to the same seasonal job. Due to chronic shortage of seasonal workforce the question of retention in hospitality industry is becoming highly important. This research was aimed at understanding whether the above-mentioned items are positively related to each other in one’s consideration and acceptance of the same seasonal hotel job. This study is based on data collected from participants that were seasonally employed in Croatian hotels in 2019. The most important findings indicate that the three mentioned variables; supervisor support, affective commitment and work engagement are in positive correlation with seasonal employees’ intention to return. These positive correlations are of high significance for hospitality organizations working on understanding and increasing the rate of returning seasonal workers.
