Abstract
Leadership, despite being a broad concept, is exhibited in different forms by different people who are in charge. Displaying diverse levels of leadership is a form of professionalism and education. The difference in the level of employee satisfaction can be linked to the impact of these opposed styles. This papers’ focus is on the influence of different leadership style in hotel industry in Albania. Lacking professional education and training, this concept is extensively confused with being a boss. This paper focuses on whether or not there is a strong correlation between leadership level and employee satisfaction in hotels in Albania. There are two methods used; a poll distributed to 30 young adults who are seniors in high school and the MLQ questionnaire distributed to current employees in 6 big hotels in Tirana, Albania. The results highly support the hypothesis which states that the connection between the two is very strong.
